Leo Braat (Arnhem 1908 – Amsterdam 1982) was a Dutch sculptor, draftsman, poet, translator, critic, medallist and ceramist.

Leo Braat received his education at the School of Arts and Crafts and the Academy of Art Practice in Arnhem and was a pupil of the sculptor Gijs Jacobs van den Hof. He completed his education in Paris.
Braat was a figurative sculptor. He was strongly influenced by the folk ceramic works of pre-Columbian culture.
As an anti-fascist, Braat was a member of the resistance group around Gerrit van der Veen during the war years and editor of De Vrije Kunstenaar, an illegal magazine of the artists' resistance.
He was also co-founder of the Stichting Kunstenaarsverzet 1942-1945, a foundation in honour of Gerrit van der Veen.
