Olivier De Nato was born in Brussels in 1968, passionate about drawing and nature, he devoted himself to painting as an autodidact from his adolescence. He participated in various competitions, won several prizes and was noticed and launched by the Christiane Cloots gallery in Brussels in 1992, thus beginning his professional career as a painter. A whole series of personal exhibitions in Galleries followed, in Belgium, France and abroad, he also participated in many group exhibitions as far as Asia and the USA under the leadership of a French art dealer. His work is essentially based on nature that he harmonizes and adjusts by following his own emotional pattern so that none of his landscapes is the reproduction of a real place, they are for the most part manipulated, adjusted, or even totally reorganized or totally imaginary. He thus devotes himself with as much pleasure to oil as to acrylic as well as pastels. Since 2012, he has been leading painting workshops and giving drawing and pastel courses in France and Belgium, with a base at the Gué d'Hossus plastic arts school in Champagne-Ardenne.
