Margaretha Hendrikus Gerardus Maria (Margriet) Heymans was a Dutch children's book writer and illustrator. She attended the school for art and crafts in Den Bosch. She wrote and illustrated her first picture book Het poppenfeest (1971), a flip book, together with her sister Annemie Heymans. For her second book Hollidee de circuspony (1972), she received a Gouden Penseel. Her talent as a writer is also appreciated.
