Klaas Gubbels has executed an idea that has been in his head since he was twenty. In his
youth a road was constructed with a towed roller. The road was kept wet
because the tar should not stick to the roller.
He made a tar print (which is very special) that hangs in a small edition of 40 in Dudok. He worked with asphalt powder. There are lean and greasy copies, all numbered and signed.

Frames: Damage to frames is not described. If a work is framed behind glass and the glass is broken, this will be mentioned. Reflection may be visible in photos of framed works.


When purchased, the work can be collected in 's-Gravenzande (near The Hague)
(Scheveningen), Rotterdam and Delft and 5 minutes from the beach). The term for the
pick up, with advance payment, is very spacious, i.e. the buyer can do the work for weeks or even
months later and, if possible, combine it with a visit to one of the
above mentioned cities or the beach. We can also ship the work.
