. Jac de Beer was a Frisian artist who worked from Sneek in the first half of the last century. The Fries Scheepvaartmuseum in Sneek has a small but interesting collection of his woodcuts. Most woodcuts are printed on rice paper, which makes them very fragile. The flower still lifes and bouquets in vases are among his most appreciated work.
