Fredericus Johannes (Frits) Giltay (Hilversum, 20 July 1907 – Bruges, 17 March 1970) was a Dutch painter.
Giltay lived in Amsterdam (1938-1943) and in the then artists' village of Blaricum (1943-1947), in North Holland, but he left for Bruges in 1947, where he died in 1970.
He was a pupil of Mathys Hage among others and he himself taught JH Lambeck and Freek van den Berg. During his Bruges period, Frits Giltay exhibited regularly until 1957. After a break of ten years, an exhibition of his work was organised in the Concertgebouw in Bruges in 1968. In 1969, his works were exhibited in the Casino of Blankenberge.
