This girl takes a dive, a unique work of art from the collection of Doris Hirzel.
The original name of this artwork is unfortunately unknown to me. This beautiful image is a loner piece.
It stands on a removable support. Weight with the metal support: 1850 grams.
The dimensions are of the image itself without support.

About the artist:
The ceramicist, born in Zurich in 1969, graduated from the ceramics class of the School of Applied Arts in Vevey in 1992. She then went to work at the Gemeinschaftsatelier Mutschellenstrasse in Zurich and worked in social institutions and psychiatric wards.
Her life is marked by several stays abroad with internships. She has traveled to Central and South America, Tanzania, Nepal and New Zealand. She lived and worked for several years in various studios in France.
In 2004 she moved to Goldiwil in the Bernese Oberland, where she worked in the studio of Ueli Schmutz while creating her own work. In 2015 she took over his studio. Her sculptures are exhibited at ceramics and art and design exhibitions and craft markets.
In addition to her work as a ceramist, Doris Hirzel also works as a personal development coach. She gives workshops for institutions as well as in her own studio.
