- Intriguing mixed media "test of time" created by the Amsterdam visual artist Diana Thiry (1953) in 2008. Various materials including metal, acrylic paint and ink on canvas painting, purchased in 2008 by the current owner from the Witt Dordrecht gallery during the "open Art fair" in Utrecht. The artwork is beautifully framed and is in very good condition.
(Amsterdam 1953-) Diana Thiry started as a sculptor and slowly grew towards relief and/or material paintings. Educated and graduated in the 1970s at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (in the direction of monumental design). Canvases, panels with wood, iron or paper, painted with acrylic paint.
