Jurgen Bey (1965)
Jurgen Bey, alumnus of the Design Academy Eindhoven, worked with Droog in the early 1990s. In 2002 he founded Studio Makkink & Bey with Rianne Makkink. Bey is best known for his furniture designs, such as the Kokon series (1999), the Treetrunk Bench (1999) and the EarChair (2003) in collaboration with Makkink. Bey also works as a teacher and since 2010 director of the Sandberg Institute Amsterdam.
